Standard rental rules

These rules are standard for vehicle rental on Wroomo and apply to all rentals unless it conflicts with the terms and conditions on the owner's vehicle page.
- Minimum rental period is 24 hours. If you rent for a half day, you will be charged as for a full day.
- Age and experience. Age limit is 21 years. Owners have the right to set individual conditions of minimum age and driving experience for their vehicles.
- Driver's license. An International Driving Permit (IDP) together with a national license is mandatory. All documents must be valid. Copies and electronic licenses will not be accepted. In Thailand, a fine of 1000 baht or more will be imposed for not having an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- Contacts The contact phone number given at the time of booking must be available throughout the rental. Claims for quality of service will not be considered if it is not possible to establish communication with the driver.
- Rental extension If you want to extend the rental period, you need to make a new reservation for the same vehicle taking into account the new term and agree with the owner to inspect the vehicle before starting the new rental.
- Vehicle returns. Return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as when you picked it up. If there is less fuel, the owner has the right to charge an additional fuel invoice. If there is more fuel, the difference will not be compensated.
- Vehicle cleanliness. If the vehicle is returned dirty, which makes it difficult to inspect, the owner has the right to charge an additional wash bill.
- Damage and repair. In the event of damage to the vehicle, the driver must immediately notify the owner and follow their instructions for repair and compensation.
- Insurance. Standard insurance does not cover damage to the wheels, underbody, windshield and interior of the vehicle.
- Insurance case. If an insured event occurs, notify the owner of the vehicle immediately and obtain a police report of the accident. If these conditions are not met, the insurance may be invalid and all liability will fall on the driver.
- Intentional damages. Insurance is invalid if the vehicle is intentionally damaged or vandalized.
- Public roads. You can only drive a rented vehicle on public roads.
- Traveling outside. Travel outside the Kingdom of Thailand is prohibited. For travel outside the provinces, please check at the booking stage.
- Transportation expenses. Payment for fuel, parking, fines and toll roads is the responsibility of the driver.The driver is obliged to comply with the toll road toll rules and to pay all arising bills in due time.
- Returns without notice. Returning the vehicle without notifying the owner may result in additional fines.
- Prohibited actions. Rental vehicles may not be used for racing, towing, transporting dangerous goods, or commercial use.
