Wroomo's Cancellation Policy aims to provide transparency and fairness to all users, including drivers and vehicle owners. Please check our policy to avoid misunderstandings and fines.
General terms and conditions
Cancellation of bookings by drivers
- Fee: Drivers only pay a fee of a certain % of the total rental amount when booking on the Wroomo platform. This is a service fee for using the platform and is non-refundable if the driver cancels the booking.
- Balance Payment: The balance of the rental amount is paid by the driver directly to the vehicle owner upon pickup of the vehicle.
Cancellation of booking by owners
- Notify: The owner must notify the driver of the need to cancel as soon as possible.
- Fee refund: In case of cancellation by the owner, Wroomo will refund the driver the full amount of the booking fee to the card from which the payment was made.
- Confirmation Deadline: The owner must confirm or cancel the booking within 24 hours of booking by the driver or within 12 hours if the booking starts earlier than 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation process
Cancellation by driver
- Sign in to your Wroomo account.
- Go to the ”Bookings” page”.
- Select the booking you want to cancel and open it.
- Click on the “Cancel booking” button.
Cancellation by owner
- Sign in to your Wroomo account.
- Go to the “Control panel” page.
- Select a vehicle and click on it to get a list of documents for that vehicle.
- Select the booking you want to cancel and open it.
- Click on the “Cancel booking” button.
Return of funds
Refund timeline
- The fee is refunded to the same card or account from which the payment was made.
- The refund period can take from 1 to 30 business days depending on the bank or payment system.
Fees
In some cases, refund processing fees may apply. The fee will be indicated when canceling the booking.
Specific conditions
Unforeseen circumstances
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, acts of war or other unforeseen events, Wroomo reserves the right to change the cancellation policy.
- Users will be notified of any changes to the cancellation policy in such situations.
Change in cancelation policy
Wroomo reserves the right to make changes to the cancellation policy. All changes will be published on the website and will be effective from the date of publication.
Sanctions for owners
Frequent booking cancellations
- Owners who cancel bookings frequently may face sanctions, such as higher fee percentages and temporary suspension of the ability to rent out vehicles.
- Owners are advised to keep a close eye on bookings and try to avoid cancellations.
